Nathalie walked down the steel-grey street, being jostled along by throngs of well-dressed people. Her dad was taking so long picking up those stupid artifacts so she'd decided to head out on her own and see the town. It was much bigger than Forks, thank God for that. The little town was so stifling, it was always as if everyone had their eyes on her back. It made her freaking paranoid to the point where she sometimes avoided going out. She and her dad stood out, didn't belong, and that was bad. It probably had to do with what they were. Daddy had said that he'd noticed the scents of several other vampires, these the odd "vegitarians" they'd heard rumors of down in New Orleans, in fact, they'd heard that the vegitarians had pulled one over on the Italians over another halfbreed such as herself and that was why Nathalie was finally allowed to leave the plantation unaccompanied and go to school.
But she still felt odd, she knew that if she met any of these vegitarians that they wouldn't like her because of what she did. They would especially not like her when they heard what her power was and what she used it for. Very few did, and it made it hard to fit in with the vampire community anyway. She shook her head to clear her mind of all thoughts. She was going to get through this, she was going to find a niche in this strange northern society. So this dreary, grey, lifeless place was her home for a while, sure it might not have been the bright, tropical New Orleans, but she would make due until she got back.
Though... part of her did want to meet the halfbreed who'd started all this. Maybe they could possibly be friends, maybe her family would be willing to overlook the fact that she drank human blood and practiced what seemed like dark, evil rituals and summoned ghosts. This put her in a considerably happier mood as she continued to walk down the street, waiting for her father to come and find her.

Julieta decided on going to Seattle that day to get away from Forks for a little bit. She also just wanted to get away from there for a little bit maybe even a few hours. She sighed as she walked down the streets of the High Street. She didn't know what she was at all since she didn't know anything about half-bloods at all smelt vampires before and a little bit of blood mixed with vampire but she didn't know the correct term for it at all. She was wearing a green sun dress with a green sweatshirt on to keep her self warm a little bit. With her blond hair straight that day since she was very happy that day.
She smiled as she continued on walking down the street that is until she started to smell that weird smell again that smell of human and vampire mixed in with each toher. She saw a girl that looked almost like her but she didn't know why so she just staid back some as she watched her. Instead she decided on to walking and not be bothered about it at all.
