Good morning...or not{Nessie}

[Jacob Black]

Jacob stretched out along the bed, making a slight groaning sound as he did. He yawned once then turned onto his side as he studied Renesmee next to him, still asleep. Jacob smiled and started stroking Renesmee’s face lightly. It was another rainy day, again. He knew it was good for vampires, but Jake would have liked to see some sun once in a while.

Then again the clouds were much more enjoyable to wake up to than the sun shinning in your eyes right when you get up. Jacob hated that. He looked to Renesmee once again. She had a peaceful look on her face, one which Jacob loved to watch in the late morning and nighttime hours. Jacob sighed softly and pushed a piece of her hair behind her ear, leaning over to kiss her cheeks down to her lips while chuckling lightly. He stopped and moved his head up toward her ear.

”Nessie…” He whispered lightly into her ear, smiling down to her.

Laying in the warm soft bed next to her fiancee, Nessie was all curled up. Her arms around her stomach as if protecting or in pain. She was lent against a very warm Jacob Black, she loved his warm skin it was always conventient in the cold winter months. Being half human she still felt the cold like any other. Her petite form was curled up into the fetal position, as she seemed disturbed by her sleep. She had woken quite a few times during the night either shouting or cying lightly.

Feeling a warm hand touch her face and stroke her icy cheek she smiled softly, leaning into his hand she knew who it was straight away. Even though she had been really moody lately she wasnt going to let her mood ruin this little moment. She kept her eyes closed, and let Jake stroke away. She finally felt his lips on her cheek then on her own lips. She frowned slightly, his kisses bringing back memories of what had happened only just weeks before.

Nessie... She heard him say. Sighing she opened her eyes and looked to him. "Whats wrong?" She asked, her voice was pretty dull and sounded quite edgy. She couldnt help it, mostly because her emotions where all over the place and she had been having so many mood swings lately it was unbelievable. She knew it was because she had found out she was pregnant.

She could remeber yesterdays events pretty clearly. How she had walked down to the drug store to buy four or five pregnancy kits. She had tried one and it had came out positive. She had just laughed nervously and threw it away before trying another. She went through four of them and ended herself in tears. She had to get rid of them fast so she drove out to a public bucket and dumped them. She only had one left and it was hidden very well in her bag right at the back of the wardrobe.

She was going to try the last one in a couple of days time to make sure it was true. She wasnt mad about having a baby infact she was excited. But she was frightened it was going to rip them all apart and then she would have to choose between jake and her family. It just wouldnt be fair. She hadnt told Jake yet because she was frightened. So now he would just have to put up with her moods till she told him... or till she started showing.

Jacob pulled away, keeping his face about a feet away from Renesmee’s. He was surprised by her response, but wasn’t quite sure about it. Renesmee had been acting quite strange in the past few weeks and the truth was Jacob didn’t understand why. Maybe it was just stress from the upcoming marriage, that’s what Jacob told himself. He kept on a smile and shrugged.

”Nothing was really wrong, I just wanted to see my beautiful fiancée again. Turns out 8 hours is to long for me.” He chuckled lightly, putting a hand on her chin. He retracted his hand and then studied her. She looked a bit tired, maybe that was it. ”Why are you alright?” He asked, sitting up more in the bed. Jacob still didn’t believe that Renesmee was going to be his wife shortly, he was so excited. Yet the two didn’t get a home yet, they just lived with Edward and Bella, which surprisingly Jacob didn’t mind.

Him and the Cullens got along much more than before Renesmee, it was almost like magic. Then again who could not be happy when around Renesmee? She just lit up his world, all of their worlds. Jacob put his hand on hers and held it with another, patting it lightly. The feeling of her cool skin on his burning flesh felt good, like a rush of nice cold water on a spring’s morning. Jacob didn’t want Renesmee to be unhappy, but she and Jacob had just woken up.

Maybe Jacob shouldn’t have disturbed her slumber, maybe he should have watched her sleep. Jacob found her irresistible, like he just had to have her in his arms, he had to love her. Renesmee was perfect in every way, he couldn’t be happier than he was at this time. Then again when they married, that alone would beat every time they had together. Their first kiss as husband and wife, it just all fit so perfectly. Nothing could ruin this wedding, nothing.

Looking to his cheerful face she couldnt help but smile, Jacob was the sort of person that brightened up the atmosphere. She was sure he could even make people smile at a funeral, she looked up into his beautiful eyes with her own chocolate brown ones. She smiled as he said about 8 hours being too long. His warm hand on her chin made her close her eyes happily. It was true she did look exahusted, but it was mostly because she was up half the night worrying.

"Hmmm babe?" She opened her eyes as she realised he was talking to her. "Yeah..... just fine.... just fine." She repeated her words in a whisper. Well she was fine in a round about way. Being pregnant was a fantastic thing, she shouldnt be worrying like this but she didnt want the baby to ruin things between Edward and Jacob. She pictured her fathers face when she told them they where engaged, he was not pleased at all. He thought she was still too young, well she was onyl five years old but she looked about 17 so she was getting married wether he liked it or not.

She had a very stuborn attitude towards the wedding. She had even told them if they didnt like it then they didnt have to come. But with the baby it was a different thing, she would need help with the baby and she was frightened. She wanted to tell Jacob, but bad thoughts kept going through her head.

What if he doesnt want the baby?
What if he doesnt want me?
What will i do without him?
I cant get rid of the child?

She bit down on her lip, being pulled back to reality when he glasped her hand in his. She looked up to him and gave him a nervous smile. With her spare hand she pushed her long beautiful hair from her face and looked down to there hands. She placed her spare hand down on top of his and tried to smile again. All she could muster was a shaky half sided grimce.

[Jacob Black]

Jacob put on a smile, she really was acting quite strange. Jacob didn’t believe her one bit, she wasn’t fine, she didn’t sound fine to him. Jacob put his arm around her and brought her closer to him, moving his hand up and down her arm lightly.

”Nessie, honey. What’s wrong? You sure don’t seem fine to me.” He told her, looking into the two perfectly shaped chocolate brown eyes which engulfed you in happiness every time you looked into them. They lead straight to her soul, two golden gates which hid the heavenly angels. From the free falling melody of her sweet voice to the loving personality of a gentle figure. He shrugged down so that they were same level and kissed her on the forehead, keeping his eyes locked on hers.

It was true though, she wasn’t one hundred percent herself at the moment. Jacob pulled Renesmee into both of his arms and laid his head onto hers, breathing in her sweet scent. The scent she carried was like no other. It was like a fresh flower but even better. Renesmee could put any old starry night to shame. She was the sunshine, rays of sun just radiated from her smile and warmed your heart. Though Jacob saw much of Bella in Renesmee he saw her as her own individual person.

She was much different from Bella, more daring to do things except when she had tried to kill herself by jumping off the cliff. Renesmee would never do something like that, not like Jacob could blame Bella for that. If anything happened to Renesmee Jacob would want to be dead also. At first Billy, Jacob’s father, thought that Renesmee would be just a replacement for her, but man was he wrong. Billy did love Renesmee like a daughter and understood that his son was happy, that was all Jake needed to know. He loved Renesmee with all his heart and that would never change.

Feeling his warm muscular arm winde its way around her shoulders she smiled half heartedly, cuddling into his warm form. His hand stroking her arm felt good but it couldnt stop the fit of trembles that had just engulfed her petite body. Under his warm arm her body was shaking, mostly because she hated lying to him but she was still to afraid to tell him just yet. She would tell him when she felt the time was right. She knew she would have to do it seperatly. once to her parents and then once to her fiancee and his father.

"Im fine babe, just tired. Im not feeling on top form either." She said softly. Her voice still having the edge in it, she wanted to hit herself righ there and then. He was worried about her and she was just being a complete bitch to him. There was truth to her words, she was tired and she wasnt feeling good but she knew that it was her body getting ready to carry the baby for however long it took. She felt sick and shaky, sometimes a little dizzy but she knew it was all natural.

"I think i caught a bug or something, but ill be fine." She promised him, finally managing to get a smile on her face. It wasnt the best smile, infact it didnt even reach her eyes but she hoped it would reasure him for now. She felt so bad holding it from him but she felt more frightened than guilty. Jake couldnt control his thoughts around her father and she knew that as soon as Jakek new Edward would know and she couldnt risk her father charging down to La Push to break her fiancees legs.

Feeling his warm lips on her forehead, she cuddled into his warm chest. Hiding her eyes from his view so he couldnt see right in her eyes and know she wasnt telling the whole truth. She pressed her icy lips to his bare chest and just kept her face buried there not wanting to move until she could pull hersef together. Jacobs scent was strong in her nostrils, but she liked the scent. It always made her feel safe and warm. Her home was with Jacob, and her heart and soul belonged to him alone.

Jacob glanced down to Renesmee who was right in front of his body now. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer to him, leaning down to kiss her cheek as he rubbed her back. At first, Jacob believed she was crying but after a while but then realized that no tears soaked through his shirt. He still wasn’t fully convinced.

”Shhh…Its alright.” He said to her with a confused expression as he moved his hand up and down her back. ”Maybe we should go see Carlisle then today, my love, if your not feeling well.” He said, putting his lightly down onto Renesmee’s shaking shoulders. Jacob could feel her body shaking all over, which only grew him more concerned. ”Ness, are you sure theres not anything your not telling me? You don’t sound sick.” He admitted. Yet she was shaking but if she was anything like her mother she was shaking because she was frightened. Jacob held her closer to him so possibly then maybe she would realize that as long as he was there nothing would ever hurt her.

”Its alright Renesmee, nothing will ever hurt you.” He told her, thinking maybe she was scared of the Volturi or something to that affect. Jacob surely would never let the Volturi anywhere near her, he would try with every bit of his strength to fight them off before they even had chance to look at her. Then Jacob came across the thought that he had done something wrong to make Renesmee feel like this. Had he? Well, she wasn’t mad at him…so that might not be the best guess. Perhaps she had a bad dream, maybe that had frightened her. Jacob shrugged in his mind before glancing out the window once again for a single moment as he turned his attention back to Renesmee.

Keeping her face burried in his warm muscular chest she closed her eyes and lent her head into him happily. With his arms tightening around her she couldnt help but smile to herself, she loved it when Jake pulled her close. His arms where just so inviting, she loved his hugs. Not only did she just feel safe, she felt like she belonged there in his arms. That nothing could ever pull her away from being in his arms.

She nodded as he tried to soothe her, his hand trailing up and down her icy slim back. The fabric of Jacobs shirt she had borrowed was rubbing softly against her smooth skin, his scent coming off the shirt and lingering in the air. She liked to wear jacobs clothes, she just wore anything and everything that belonged to him. It felt good to smell his scent even if he wasnt around at the time.

Maybe we should go see Carlisle then today, my love, if your not feeling well.” She bit down on her lip, the trembles becoming more violent. She was scared that if she went to her grandad whilst with Jacob he would find out. They would both find out and then he would be angry she hadnt told him. But she was scared. Scared more than anything, she had never felt this sort of fear before. The fear of losing the one she loved, and the fear of him regecting the child that slowly grew inside of her.

"Ness, are you sure theres not anything your not telling me? You don’t sound sick.” She didnt anwser. Instead she lifted the arm that was cradled round her stomach and clung onto his shirt like a child. She didnt want him to let go. She didnt want him to leave her, the fear was getting the better of her and she knew that eventually he would find out. She kept her mouth zipped and just clung to his body. Once again she pressed her shaky icy lips to his chest, kissing above his heart softly. She had felt the beat of his heart as her lips pressed against his chest.

[Jacob Black]

Jacob sighed, holding her closer to him. He didn’t really understand what was so terrible. Her trembling just increased as he mentioned doctor. Was she sick? Jacob felt his heart sink as he pulled her off his body and held her face in his hands, stroking her cheeks as he looked into her eyes, deep down into the once happy, carefree soul. He remained calm.

”Renesmee, darling please tell me what’s wrong. Don’t be afraid, I couldn’t hurt you if I tried.” Jacob admitted, moving a piece of her hair out of her face with both a concerned and confused expression. Jacob was completely stumped. He wanted to hold her in his arms but he needed to know what was bothering her so much. ”Tell me what you’re feeling, please honey, I wanna help but first you have to tell me.”

He said to her in a calming tone, well he tried to make it sound calm and hoped it was convincing. Jacob was calm but he was worried about Renesmee. Even as a child she had never been so frightened. Jake put on a slight smile to see if it made her more willing to tell him. He wished she was smiling, the brightness of her lit up face just warmed Jacob more than anything. He wanted to help her so much, he needed to know why she was so upset. If she really was sick then perhaps they should go straight to Carlisle at this very moment, just to check up on her.

Jake didn’t believe she had a fever but yet again it was kind of hard to tell when your 108 degrees yourself, a temperature that would have killed a human easily. She didn’t seem like she had the symptoms of something but then again Jacob wasn’t a doctor, now was he? He wouldn’t be the one to make a call like that, he would have murdered himself if he did something wrong. Practicing medicine was a doctor’s work.

She could sence the worry from Jacob and even that seemed to be unsettling her. She didnt want him to be worried, she wanted him to just pass it off as a common virus. She frowned as he lifted her from his chest and lifted her head to look into his eyes. She kept her eyes emotionless and looked back to Jacob. She was trying so hard but it was so difficult. She wanted her granddad to be here to help her tell him, if Carlisle knew... he could explain it much better than she could.

"N...n...nothing is wrong." She stuttered. Only just managing to choak out her words. She really wasnt enjoying this one bit. Now she had got herself all worked up she couldnt even speak without stuttering or trembling. She felt the need to slap herself, she had really done it now. He was not going to stop till he knew the truth, but she wasnt ready to tell him just yet. It wasnt the right time or the right place. She would tell him when she felt more secure in her condition.

"I feel sick. I just feel ill. But ill be okay once ive rested and got rid of it." She said softly. "Jake you dont have to worry, ill be okay." She said again in a soft tone. She just sat there taking deep breaths trying to calm down.

[Jacob Black]

Jacob frowned and nodded lightly, looking to the side of him at the floor. Her eyes held no emotion, they seemed closed like there was a bolted door keeping you from seeing into her. She really felt terrible if that was what was bothering her. He sighed and let go of her chin, looking at her briefly before climbing out of bed as he walked to her side and laid her down into the bed. Jake pulled the covers up to her neck and kissed her forehead.

”Stay here.” He told her, walking to the closet as he pulled his arms into the sleeves of a white shirt. Jake already had black pants on, he would change them later. Right now Renesmee was more important than that. Jake buttoned his shirt and went over toward the dresser as he brushed his hair quickly into a spiky fashion and buttoned up his shirt. He looked back to Renesmee for a moment as he started toward the door.

”I’m going to get your grandfather, maybe he can give you something for that. Lets just make sure its nothing serious dear, a checkup wouldn’t hurt. Be right back. Stay here.” He told her with a smile as he opened the door and walked out, closing it gently behind him as he went into the kitchen and started humming a tune. Jake was hungry, he grabbed a banana from the counter, a quick thing to eat. Then he turned to the hall and started walking to the front door.

Nessie watched him confused not knowing what he was going to do till he laid her in the bed and pulled the covers up. She smiled softly and looked back up to him. Stay here She frowned. "W.. why where you going?" She asked going to sit up, she sat up in the bed and watched him closely as he dressed. Sometimes she just wanted to tell him to keep clothes off because his chest was just so amazing. It was enough to make any girl drool.

She chuckled softly to herself. Even when she was in a mood like this she still seemed to find time to look at Jake and take in his handsome face. She had to admit he was gorgeous. She felt like an idiot sitting here looking him over like some horny school girl. That was not the best thing to do in her state. Already one heated encounter had caused her to become pregnant. She wasnt going to attempt a second time. Not untill they where married at least.

”I’m going to get your grandfather, maybe he can give you something for that. Lets just make sure its nothing serious dear, a checkup wouldn’t hurt. Be right back. Stay here.” Fear coursed through her. She shoved the covers off and ran after him catching him as he got to the door. "Jake no... im fine honest. There is no need for grandad. Please." She pleaded. She didnt want any diagnostic of her 'illness'. She already knew what it was and she would tell others when she was ready.

She took hold of his hand and pulled him towards her. "Jake please dont go. Dont leave me. I... i dont want to be left alone. Ill be fine in a few days i promise." She rambled getting breathless. She really didnt want him to go. It was not a good idea at all. She would tell him in her own time. Not when someone told her.

Jacob was just about to fully turn the knob of the door when he felt Renesmee’s cold touch on his hand. Jacob turned around to see Renesmee pleading him not to go. His eyebrows creased in the middle as he shifted her a questioning gaze. It was just her grandfather, what’s so bad about that? Jacob shook his head in her direction and watched her. She looked scared.

”Renesmee, what’s the problem? I just want him to check you out that’s all. It would give me some security if he just looked over you just once. What could it hurt?” He asked, turning around t face her full on. ”It’ll make you feel better, Nessie.” He told her truthfully. Jacob didn’t want Renesmee to feel horrible, maybe Carlisle could give her some pain killers or something.

”Just some pain killers. Go back to bed lovely, this will only take a moment unless you wanted to come with me.” He shrugged, putting his hand back onto the knob. Jake was quite puzzled about her reaction. Why would she care if he was jus going to get her grandfather just for a simple check up to make sure she didn’t have anything serious.

"Jake please! No i dont want grandad. Im fine honestly. Jake please." She pleaded. "Jake i dont want to be looked over. Its just a cold why drag him away from work to see to a cold." She kept fighting her case not wanting her grandfather to come over and fine the source of her problem. She wasnt ready, she couldnt tell him just yet she wasnt even sure herself if it was true or not.

”Just some pain killers. Go back to bed lovely, this will only take a moment unless you wanted to come with me.” She pulled him back from the door using her vampire strength and stood in front of it. Having used her strength she felt breathless. Pushing the air down her lungs, she gulped it down as fast as she could working herself right up into a state.

"Jake please! I mean it. Dont go. I dont want him here. Just stay here with me, thats all i need." She looked deep into his eyes. Her expression firm. She just looked tired and hungry. She hadnt eaten or slept in a few days now, mostly having slipped her mind from all the other things she had to think about. She bit down on her lip keeping her back to the door. She wouldnt let him near the handle.

Pushing the bolt across the door she took a step towards Jacob. "L...lets go back to bed?" She said breathlessly. She kept trying to cool down, gulping the air down. She put her hands on his chest and tried to push him backwards into the room. It was tiring being a half vampire and trying to push a fully grown wolf was very difficult for someone as petite and slim as her.

Jacob stumbled backward and to the side as Renesmee pulled him He was getting annoyed with her now. His smile turned into a frown as he watched her and crossed his arms against his chest, watching her with a piercing gaze and narrowed eyes. He shook his head side to side.

”You know Renesmee its not the cold that’s concerning me its how you are acting.” He told her in a confused yet loud voice. He tried to console his calmness as he looked down at the floor, still shaking his head. He looked up to her with arched eyebrows.

”Your really starting to freak me out Renesmee.” He muttered unhappily as she started pushing him. He took her arms off of him and started to walk away back to the room while mumbling something even he could not comprehend. Jacob just didn’t get it, why was she acting like this? He stopped when he reached the bathroom as he took a small box from the cabinet. It was only children’s cold relief but it would have to work since she was holding him hostage. Jacob turned out of the bathroom and handed her the pill.

”Fine here take this.” He muttered, turning back as he walked quickly back to the bedroom and pushed the door closed. ”Shows what I get for trying to take care of you.” He said quietly, turning his gaze toward the window. It was raining now along with wind. A storm was coming, perfect.

She watched him shake his head and cross his arms over his chest. She sighed in anguish. She couldnt tell him yet and now he was angry with her. She looked down to the ground feeling really bad but she couldnt risk it just yet. "I am fine Jake, im behaving funny cause im an ididot. Does that conclusion help?" She said in a very edgy voice. She kept her eyes to the ground, so he couldnt see the tears that had started to well up.

She hated arguing with Jake, she hated upsetting him too. She could tell he was really annoyed. The shaking from his body ment there was a change he could transform into a wolf. That wasnt a good sign. That ment he wasnt just annoyed he was mad. This made her feel even worse. She knew that she had every right to feel guilty , putting jake through this was not what she had planned but she didnrt think he would be this assertive about her grandfather.

”Your really starting to freak me out Renesmee.” She sighed and nodded. "I know." She mumbled softly. Looking at the pill in his hand she raised and eyebrow but then took it and swallowed it without any water. She wrinkled up her nose and then looked to Jake. "There its gone." She opened her mouth so he could see she had infact swallowed the thing and wasnt lying.

She wanted him to see she wasnt doing this on purpose but she knew that if he was to find out now he would either continue to get angry and perhaps transform into a wolf or he would walk out. She wasnt really thinking about any positives just mostly negatives.She could hear him mumble and it made a few of the tears drop form her eyes. She pushed them away with her hand and followed him into the room.

"Im sorry." She croaked softly. Going back towards the bed she curled up back into the fetal position with her back to him. She closed her eyes tight so no more of the tears could fall. She could hear the patter of rain and could sence the storm that was approching. She knew the Cullens would be out playing baseball but she wasnt in the mood to join in.

[Jacob Black]

Jacob watched Renesmee enter the room and sit on the bed like a sad little girl. He felt a soft smile come over him as most of the anger washed out of him. Jacob walked gently in front of her and kneeled on one knee to the floor, looking up to her face and closed eyes as he raised his hand and brushed off some of her tears on his cheek with his thumb and moved a lock of her hair behind her ear at the same time.


”Shhhh Renesmee…Its alright. You know me I just want the best for you.” He told her, putting on a friendly smile toward her. How could Jacob ever stay mad at her like that? If she really was just as she said then it would be nothing, even if Jacob didn’t believe her he couldn’t just leave her like that no matter how angry he was. The shaking in his hands had subsided and were now fluidly stroking her cheek. He moved his hand to hers and took it without hesitation.


”What do you say to something to eat because I don’t know about you but I’m starving.” He chuckled, squeezing her hand tenderly. Jake never got to eat his banana, he didn't even remember where he dropped it nor even if he dropped it. Oh well, that wouldn't have filled him up totally anyway.

Opening her eyes slowly as she heard jacob move. She soon felt his hand on her face, stroking the tears and loose strands of hair from her pale but beautiful face. She looked at him with a soft, sad expression on her face. She hated lying to him but it seemed to be the only way at this particular moment in time. She allowed him to stroke her face softly with his warm hand. Even when he was mad at her, his touch still felt so nice. She looked to his eyes, her own chocolate brown ones still sparkling slightly with some of the tears that hadnt fallen.

”Shhhh Renesmee…Its alright. You know me I just want the best for you.” She nodded her head. Her face rubbing against the silky sheets as she did. She still lay down on the bed, as jake knelt at the side his hands on her face. She had noticed he had stopped shaking and a small smile spread to her beautiful features. When he shook like that it frightened her. She knew he would never hurt her but she was worried he might loose control and hurt himself or something. Holding his hand carefuly she sat up on the bed and smiled again.

”What do you say to something to eat because I don’t know about you but I’m starving.” She chuckled softly. Her rosy lips spreading into a big smile that touched her pretty brown eyes. She thought for a second then nodded. "Yeah, lets go eat." She said softly. Brushing away the last of her tears she stood up and waited for him to do the same. She was only going to eat a little, mostly to please Jake. She knew he would be more worried if she refused to eat anything. She knew he would find out about the baby soon, but it wasnt going to be today.
