PERSONALITY:
Nathalie is very playful and carefree. She enjoys being with people, especially ones she doesn't know. Though, she does get serious on occasion, and usually it's connected to her religion: Voodoo. She's very good at it, and is considered by those in New Orleans who knew her as a master. There are times when she can act very much like a "girly-girl" and other times when she can act like a little devil child. She's mischevious and at times mysterious to the point of being annoying, answering questions with questions and forcing people to look at things differently. She feels very weird about being Caucasian when the rest of her family (excluding her father) is African-American. Her mother died giving birth to her and she feels very guilty, especially since her older half-sister now had to rely on their grandmother and step-father. She's very close to her family regardless and turns to them if there's ever anything she needs strength for.

HISTORY:
Nathalie was born in 1978 in New Orleans, LA. Her father had gone to her mother to see if she could lift a curse from a certain artifact that he was interested in purchasing. Their relationship took off from there as he helped to support her and her daughter Laticia when her husband left for reasons unknown. The two were later married and it soon became known that Shandra was pregnant, and her condition was deteriorating. Shortly before Nathalie's birth, Shandra's mother, Antoinette recieved an omen of Shandra's imminent death and went to her daughter's side as they fought to bring Nathalie into the world. Shandra died, getting to hold her baby once in her life.
The guilt for killing her mother would remain with Nathalie her whole life. Surprised and a bit shocked by her rapid growth, Antoinette and Gerard fought to keep Nathalie's existence hidden from the Volturi by hiding her on their plantation. She grew at an unprecedented rate until her seventh year when she reached maturity, managing to look older even than her older sister for five years before Laticia reached seventeen and continued to age like a normal human. Nathalie and Laticia both were schooled in Voodoo by their grandmother and Nathalie was able to use her ability to channel the spirits more easily. However, there was one thing that they were firmly told: never use a human as a sacrifice, even though it's more powerful.
However, Nathalie was unable to forego temptation and sacrificed a drug dealer in order to summon a powerful spirit to bestow good luck upon a client. She never told anyone, and no one ever found out. In order to escape growing suspicion from their neighbors, Gerard decided to take Nathalie and move elsewhere so that they could start fresh and live comfortably for a little while until going back to New Orleans, Nathalie, while a bit unhappy at having to leave her hometown, is excited at the chance to meet new people.
