PERSONALITY: First off, Bella is very stubborn. She is very determined to get things to go her way, and when they don't, she tends to get upset. She's not the kind of girl to throw a fit, but she will argue and argue for hours, trying to get someone to see it her way. She won't give in to anything anyone tells her unless it is someone like Edward. Also, if the object, person, or situation is hurting someone, this just makes her even more passionate to stop it or change it.
Bella is also very witty. She's always ready with a joke or retort, and sometimes uses it to lighten up a situation. She is similar to Jake in this way. She'll tease you and joke around with you, and she enjoys doing it. She loves to laugh, so any opportunity to do so is always a good thing. Bella is also sarcastic. This is her other roundabout way of lightening the mood in a tense situation.
Bella is still selfless, as usual. She still thinks about everyone's happiness first, and doesn't just think of herself. She would do anything for her family, and would sacrifice herself for them. She's also honest. Even though she can't show as much emotion as a vampire, everyone can tell when she's lying. She has no choice but to tell the truth, and doesn't mind telling Edward. Also, she knows he'll force it out of her if she refuses.

HISTORY: Isabella Marie Swan was born on September 13th, 1990 to Renee and Charlie Swan. Her childhood was average, but her parents divorced when she was young. She visited her father every summer for two weeks, but then stopped going when she made new friends and starting having a social life. Bella lived with her mother in Phoenix until she was seventeen. Renee was re-marrying, and to a minor league baseball player. Since he traveled all the time, Bella decided to move in with Charlie to allow Renee to have her own life. And so, she reluctantly packed up and moved to Forks, Washington. Her first few days were nothing special, although Charlie bought her an old red chevy from his close friend, Billy Black. His son, Jacob, used to play with Bella all the time when she visited. Bella stayed in contact with him, even though he didn't go to the same school. Bella's first day was interesting to say the least. She met Mike, Jessica, Angela, Eric, and Tyler. They seemed nice enough, and she relied on them to help her find all her classes.
When Bella got to biology, she met the mysterious Edward Cullen. He acted as if he were repulsed by her, though she was clueless as to why. Little did she know that he was plotting to kill her right on the spot. The next week or so was, again, uneventful. Edward had disappeared, and his family avoided her. When he reappeared, things got weirder. He talked to Bella as if nothing had happened, and later, he saved her life. When she questioned him about it, he denied that he had done anything. With that, he walked away. Later, after insisting that they shouldn't be friends, he decided to give up on trying to stay away from her. The two began dating, and Edward revealed what he really was: a vampire. He explained his history to Bella, and she accepted it, insisting that she was in love with him. Later, three nomads arrived in Forks, and James, the tracker, singled out Bella and intended to kill her. She was saved by Edward, who had to drink her blood to save her.
Afterward, he took Bella to prom in an attempt to let her have the human experiences she was supposed to have. He refused to turn her into a vampire, and this created an impasse between the two. On Bella's eighteenth birthday, she got a papercut from one of the presents she received. Jasper attacked her, and Edward decided that Bella was in too much danger when she was with him. Reluctantly, he left her. For four months, Bella sunk into a deep depression. When Charlie threatened to send her back to Phoenix, she snapped out of it and decided to attempt to have a life. She went out with Jessica Stanley, and ended up freaking her out by approaching four older men who reminded her of the night Edward had saved her. She realized that whenever she is in danger, she can hear his voice in her head. Though she continues to do dangerous things, she ends up forming a deep friendship with Jacob Black. She later finds out that he is a werewolf. Bella attempts to cliff dive after seeing some boys down at La Push doing the same thing.
She almost dies, but is saved by Jacob. Unexpectedly, Alice appears and explains to Bella that she couldn't see her, and that she'd come to investigate. While visiting, she has a vision of Edward killing himself by provoking the Volturi because he believes Bella is dead. Bella and Alice race to save him, and end up leaving with the promise that Bella will become a vampire. Edward attempts to persuade his family to hide Bella and keep her human. The Cullens vote to turn her into a vampire, leaving Edward furious. Later, he agrees that he will turn Bella if she agrees to marry him. She refuses, but then promises to consider it. They return to what remains of their normal lives. Edward forces Bella to apply to colleges fark away from Forks, and is still reluctant to turn her. Carlisle offers to change her after graduation, and she relies on that. In the midst of all the college applications and the graduation, the Cullens find out that Victoria is coming back, and she has a newborn army behind her.
Meanwhile, Bella has to choose between Edward and Jacob, though it will hurt one of them. Victoria gets closer and closer, and Bella is still at a loss. The Cullens vow to protect her, but Bella can't bear the idea of Edward being there. She begs him to stay with her, and he agrees, saying that he would do whatever made her happy. The night before the battle, Bella attempts to seduce Edward so that she can have the one human experience that matters most to her. He agrees, but on one condition: Bella must marry him first. The day of the battle, Jacob takes Bella to the camp set up near the battlefield. She learns that if she were to choose Jacob, Edward would let her go, and let her have a chance at a normal life. Before Jacob leaves, Bella asks him to kiss her, hoping that he will stay with her as well. It doesn't work, and Bella doubts herself again, unable to determine who she loves.
The battle ensues, and Victoria finds Edward and Bella alone. Edward defeats her, with the help of Seth Clearwater. Bella then learns that Jacob was hurt during the battle, and she faints. Later, she goes to check on him, and tells him that she has finally chosen Edward. Jacob lets her go, and Bella tells Alice that she can plan the wedding. Edward takes Bella to the meadow, and says that he has given up on trying to do things his way. He offers to change her and give her the human experience she wants, but she declines. She agrees to marry him and the preparations begin. The wedding is a hit, especially when Jacob shows up. When he learns that Edward and Bella will have a real honeymoon, he is furious, and threatens to kill Edward. He is dragged away by the other members of the wolf pack, and Edward takes Bella to Isle Esme. He has sex with her, but injures her in the process. Bella is dragged around all day, and finds herself exhausted. She also has strange dreams about a child and the Volturi.
She convinces Edward to have sex with her again, and then finds out that she is pregnant. Edward wants her to get an abortion, but she wants to keep the baby. She calls Rosalie, and makes her a bodyguard, preventing anyone from harming Bella or the baby. Jake finally comes to see her, and Edward begs him to talk to her, thinking she will listen to him. She refuses, and then has the baby. In the process, she is almost killed, and Edward saves her by injecting her with his venom. Bella then becomes a vampire. While learning all that she needs to know and raising Renesmee, Irina from the Denali Clan sees Renesmee and mistakes her for an immortal child, which is forbidden. She tells the Volturi, and they come to kill the Cullens. Alice and Jasper disappear mysteriously while the rest of the family gather covens from around the world to help. The Volturi arrive, and Bella is able to protect everyone around her from the Volturi's power.
After much debate, the Volturi leave the Cullens in peace.

ROLE-PLAYING EXAMPLE:
Bella got ready for bed earlier than usual. She had just taken a shower and put on a t-shirt and shorts to sleep in. Unlike other girls, she didn't care what she slept in. She didn't need to look pretty. No one would see her anyway. Well, maybe her fiancé and vampire, Edward. But even if she had cared what she looked like, it would have been in vain. Edward always thought she was pretty, even though she didn't think so. She'd stopped trying to convince him that she wasn't. He always won, either by arguing or changing the subject. Anyway, he always came into her room at night, without her dad knowing of course. Sighing, she brushed her hair, dried it, and climbed into bed, pulling the sheets over her and up to her stomach. She folded her arms across her chest and chewed on her bottom lip.
Even though he came over every night, she still got nervous right before he arrived. She had no idea why. Sometimes when he was a little late, she would get worried. But then he would show up and convince her that he was fine. Maybe it was silly to think that way. She couldn't help it. And then there was Jacob. She'd been sending notes, but he hadn't responded to any of them. The reason she didn't go in person was because she thought he wouldn't see her. Plus, Edward didn't like it. If she'd had her way, she would have gone anyway, but she felt like she would betray Edward if she did. And yet, she felt like she was betraying Jacob too. She was so confused all the time. She had no idea what to do. She sighed again and looked around her room. She needed a distraction, something to do. Edward still wasn't here yet.
What was taking him so long? She needed to talk to him. After all, she was going to be in college very soon. A couple of days to be exact. The Cullens were relocating, and Edward was going to help her through her first year. Also, she was going to be turned so that she could be with him forever, like she’d always wanted. This was one thing Jacob didn't get. She loved him. And not because he was beautiful or because he was rich! She'd much rather he weren't either one. It would even out the gap between them just a little bit - because he'd still be the most loving and unselfish and brilliant and decent person she'd ever met. And that was the absolute truth, nothing could change that. She just wished he understood that. But he was so damn stubborn all the time! Of course, she was too. But he wouldn't listen to reason.
And now Jake had run off, leaving everyone behind. She'd been with Edward from the day she'd met him. They were never going to be apart again. Of course she had appreciated what Jake had done for her. He'd put her back together again. She couldn't thank him enough for that. But she wanted Edward forever. Was that selfish? Hurting Jacob when he had helped her? She was only thinking of herself. The minutes felt like hours until Edward arrived. Bella was just about to go over and jump out the window, running all the way to Edward's house. She had actually gotten up and peered out the window a few times. She was obsessed, she knew. But she couldn't help it. Her heart raced every time she saw him. Whenever he gave her a compliment, she blushed so deeply that she looked like a dark red tomato.
And even though that was a bit embarrassing, she loved him for it. She'd never felt this way until she'd met him. He made her day brighter. She smiled more, and she wasn't boring and dull. He brought her to life, and she knew he felt that she did that to him. They completed each other. Even though it was forbidden, and even though everything she was thinking was cheesy, sappy and cliché, she still loved him. She was never him giving up, ever. Finally after millions of minutes of waiting, she heard something outside her window. She sat up straight and strained to listen. Yes, that was him. He was here. She almost jumped out of her bed and attacked him. Somehow, Bella managed to control herself. Finally, she saw him. He was breath-taking as usual. His skin was as white as snow, his eyes a bright gold, contrasting and making him beautiful.
His hair was a dark bronze, sticking up all over the place. He still managed to stun her. She would never get used to his beauty. When she caught her breath again, she spoke. "Hey,"
