its easy to feel like you don't need help BUT ITS HARDER TO WALK ON YOUR OWN - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Emily had only been in forks for a few day's and she all ready hated it. She started a little late in the year and everyone all ready had friends so she didn't fit in any where. People either knew her as Emily Valentine, the sorta famous chick from Hollywood or the pathetic new girl. The fact that she wasn't good at school work either didn't make her experience at school any better. She hated getting laughed at so when she got the problem wrong and they laughed she stormed out, got in her car and started to speed off. She wanted to go home but she knew that it was better she stay in Forks with her uncle until her first round of chemo was done. She had started it the other day so she felt like crap. She was all ready super pale and she had dark circles under her eyes. She had been driving fast for a while and when she came up to a meadow she killed the engine and traded her heels for a pair of converse. She was in a pair of skinny jeans and a long sleeved dark green top. Her black hair was in soft curls and her make up was light. She grabbed her guitar in the thick black case cause it looked like rain and she sighed. She could play a little while she waited for it to rain.
She got out and wandered around the meadow until she found a small clearing and she took her guitar out strumming a few notes. It echoed and when she sang a little she found out she liked the acoustics. She started to sing a song called GIFT OF A FRIEND. She had written it for a the Tinkerbell movie for Disney and she loved how the song sounded but she wished that she actually had a friend to sing it about. She wasn't very fond of being alone all the time but she wouldn't admit it. She put on a tough happy mask even though on the inside she was screaming and crying out. She stopped playing when she felt a rain drop hit her pale cheek and she put her guitar away and curled up on the ground pulling her knees to her chest. The rain picked up and she was soaked in a few minutes. She let the tears fall down her cheeks and hated the fact she was crying. She didn't cry in front of people because she didn't want to seem like she was weak but she couldn't hold it in any more. She closed her eyes and hummed to her self. The scent of the wet leaves drifted up into her nose and she let the soft chirping of the birds drown out the thoughts swimming around her head. The water dripped down her face mixing with tears and she shivered.

For well you know that it's a fool who plays it coolBy making his world a little colder- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Of all the things that Theodore would normally do on such a bleary, cloudly, and most likely soon to be rainy day, it wasn't wandering around. At least, it wasn't part of his normal routine. That was to go to a random unsuspecting town, flirt with a few girls, and tempt them to become his breakfast, lunch, or dinner, depending on the time of day. Either way he was a nomad, never staying in one place long. At times that was good, because it always gave him new sights and smells, and different sorts of people. Then again, it was also an incredibly lonely experience. He had no friends, no one who he knew apart from his family, which was long dead. Most of the time Theodore didn't feel sorry for himself, but every now and then he had his depressive moments. But come on, he had a right to do so! He would be alone for eternity, so he definitely was allowed to sulk and moan and complain about it. Lately he had been drifting closer and closer to the town of Forks, Washington because he was curious. Why exactly? Well because of the strange rumors he'd heard about a coven of vampires who were different in a sense that they didn't kill humans. It sounded so ridiculous and impossible, that Theo simply HAD to go find out what was going on there. And plus he wanted to take a look around the place for any tasty looking teenage girls. He had been running for a while on the way towards Forks when he realized his contacts had disintegrated once again. It might make one wonder, why was a human-killing vampire wearing contacts? It wasn't that he was unhappy with the eyes, he actually very much enjoyed them, but for pretenses and to make the girls comfortable, he used brown eye contact lenses. That was how his eyes used to look before he had changed, so it wasn't odd-looking on his face at all. Actually it rather suited him, and it made him sort of wish he were still human. Then again, if he were, he'd have been dead a long time ago.
Placing dark sunglasses that wouldn't show his eyes under them on, he walked boldly into a store, grabbing the right lenses quickly and purchasing them swiftly, not caring whatsoever that the clerk was staring at him. Sure, he was the only one in there wearing sunglasses, and he doubted that many people ever wore them into stores, but oh well. Heading into the men's bathroom, he checked to make sure no one else was in there, and then carefully put on the contacts, and took the sunglasses off before heading out of the store again. He was so close to Forks it was ridiculous that he had to dawdle at this point. But it was important to keep up appearances. Theo took a deep breath of air as he ran cheerfully through the forest and came to an abrupt stop. The lingering smell was unusual. It was vampire, and yet...not, it smelled far more animal-like, and it made him decide that he had in fact arrived in the right place. Knowing that those vampires could come out at any moment, he was cautious, keeping his pace at a rapid walk, glancing around suspiciously. He was rather paranoid, but for good reasons. Most vampires attacked instantly if they caught someone else in their area. It didn't matter if they didn't hold it long, or want to stay, they were extremely possessive. His attention however, became ensnared by the strumming of a guitar, about a quarter mile away from where he now stood. A beautiful voice came with it, and caused Theo to hurry toward the sound. It was amazing, but soon enough stopped and made him long for more. However he had found the general direction she was in, it was definitely a girl's voice, and he paused briefly as he spotted the clearing that revealed a meadow. He stepped out from the security of the trees, his currently brown eyes focusing on the girl's face. She was beautiful, beyond anything he had ever seen before in his life. And that said a lot really, because he had seen his fair share of beautiful women.
Glancing curiously at her, he chanced another few steps forward, and came to regret it. Her scent was the most delicious smell he had ever caught the scent of in years. It was ridiculous how delectable she smelled. Theo was forced to hold his breath, although he faked breathing as was required, and knew that she did probably notice him, so he would have to say something. Oh dear god, this was going to be hell. Sure they were alone, so he could totally kill her savagely and have that be the end of it, but there was something about her that made him not want to at the same time. Oh great, Theo you're going soft, he told himself as he glanced anxiously at the girl. "You know you could get pnuemonia by sitting out here in the rain, right?" Theodore called out to her, glancing at her shivering body and took off his jacket, handing it to her without a word. That did make him look odd standing out in the rain in only a tank-top and jeans, but the weather didn't affect him. He ran the risk of making her figure out what he was, but that didn't matter to him. The kinder side of him was forcing itself forward, to the extreme irritation of the rest of him. It was hard to fight the insane need to drink that girl's blood, but he was. It confused Theodore more than anything else ever had. Why should he care for a girl like her? She was dying anyway, that he could smell from the scent that came off of her. She had cancer, and it made him sympathize even more so and yet pissed him off at the same time. He would do her a favor by killing her! "Anyway, I'm Theodore, um....nice to meet you." Theo continued, holding out a hand for her to shake and watching her face curiously. He did hope she would take the jacket, she looked like she had already taken an enormous beating, and the cancer was probably not going to be helped with her being out in the cold like this. How odd that it was now that he actually cared about trying to save a person that she would smell so much more delicious than anyone else. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - tagged: Emily Valentine status: done! notes: and he gets his singer. xP lyrics: Hey Jude- The Beatles credit: this template and pic belong to me, so please don't take it, thanks.
